Information The Discover® Student Card, issued by Discover, is designed for those with very good credit who are looking for a cash reward credit card. Through the reward program, cardholders earn a 5% rebate for purchases made in popular categories that change four times a year like home, apparel, and more. Plus, cardholders earn up to 1% for general purchases. Cardholders can earn a double Cashback Bonus® for purchases at any gas station or restaurant. Additionally, purchases made through ShopDiscover, their exclusive shopping site, can earn between 5 to 20% cashback. There is no yearly limit on the amount of rebates that can be earned, and rebates do not expire as long as the account is active within a 36 month period. Cashback rewards can be electronically deposited to your bank account, credited to your Discover account, cashed in as gift cards to brand name partners, redeemed for fun merchandise with no sales tax and free shopping, sent as a Discover Gift Card, or donated directly to charity. Payments can be made online right up to the payment due date. Email reminders are sent so as to help you avoid fees. The APR for this card is variable depending on creditworthiness, but there is no annual fee and there is a 0% introductory APR that applies for 6 months from date of account opening.
